HEALTH & WELLNESS

A filmmaker, ultra-distance runner, and Yoli Certified Wellness Coach — living proof that better health changes everything.

I’ve tested my body across 100-mile mountain races, tracked my Omega-3 Index from deficient to optimal, and built daily habits that actually hold. Yoli is the system I trust to fuel all of it.

My story

I’m Toto Manie — filmmaker, race director, and ultra-distance runner from Antique, Philippines. I co-founded Filipino Pictures with the late Francis Magalona, directed award-winning films, and finished races most people wouldn’t dare start.

None of that matters if your body can’t keep up. Years of late shoots and production schedules took a toll, and I had to rebuild from the inside out. That journey led me to ultra-running, and eventually to Yoli. I stopped guessing and started testing. The results changed everything.

I became an independent Yoli distributor because I believe in the products enough to stake my name on them. Science-backed, personally verified, and built for people who take the long game seriously.

I didn’t find wellness. I earned it — one kilometer, one film, one conversation at a time.

Not just a supplement. A system.

Science-backed

Every product is formulated on real nutritional science. I track bloodwork. I test personally. I recommend only what I’ve validated on my own body.

Athlete-tested

These products have been with me through mountain finishes, early morning runs, and 24-hour race pushes. If it survives my training life, it works for yours.

Clean ingredients

No fillers. No shortcuts. Real nutrition designed to work the way your body needs — for the long haul, not a 30-day reset.

Test, don’t guess

I went from deficient to optimal by tracking my Omega-3 Index. Wellness decisions should come from data, not assumptions. I’ll help you find yours.

Community

From Antique to the rest of the Philippines, I’m building a team of people who take their health seriously and hold each other accountable.

Long-game thinking

Ultra-running taught me there are no shortcuts to the finish line. The same is true for your health. We build habits that outlast any challenge.

What I actually take

I’m 50. I run ultras, direct races, and work long production days. These are the five I take every day — chosen for recovery, joints, and still being able to do all of this in twenty years. Nothing here is on the list because it was trending.

Alkalete

Body pH and recovery. Time-released minerals, two capsules a day. It’s the base layer of everything else I take — the one I notice most in how I recover between hard efforts.

Flex

Muscles and joints. Collagen type II, glucosamine, chondroitin and hyaluronic acid, with boswellia and ginger. Joints decide whether you’re still running at 60. I started this one before I needed it.

Fun

Hydration and recovery. A sugar-free, caffeine-free electrolyte powder built on the same Alkalete blend. Long runs in Antique heat punish you for under-hydrating. This goes in my flask.

Passion

Energy. Sugar-free, built on green tea, yerba mate and olive leaf rather than synthetic stimulants. My pre-dawn run drink and my long-shoot-day drink. Steady, with no crash at noon.

YES Shake

Clean protein. Grass-fed whey, with plant-based versions available, plus a whole-food fruit and vegetable blend. No added sugar, no artificial ingredients. Protein needs rise with age rather than fall — this is the simplest way I’ve found to meet mine.

THE ONE I WON’T TRAVEL WITHOUT

Omega

Heart, brain, and the thing underneath everything else.

I didn’t guess at this one — I tested. My Omega-3 Index went from 5.18% to 9.66%, out of deficiency and into the optimal range. That number is why this gets its own section instead of sitting in the list above.

Most omega supplements are omega-3 only, in an ethyl ester form, with no vitamin D. Yoli makes two, and both are built differently:

Figures from Yoli’s Omega-3 comparison chart. The last column reflects three commonly sold supplements.

Vital Omegas+ is the daily workhorse — capsules, highest vitamin D3 of the two, and the one that moved my own Index. Vital Balance is the higher-dose sachet, with liposomal delivery and added polyphenols, for anyone who wants to close a gap faster or is starting from a lower number.

The 90-day guarantee is what I’d point a sceptic at. If your Omega-3 Index doesn’t move after 90 days of consistent use, you get your money back. Very few supplement companies will attach a measurable number to their own product and then stand behind it.

THE 1-MINUTE CHECK

What’s your number?

When researchers measured omega-3 directly in the blood of more than 7,200 Americans, the average Omega-3 Index came back at 4.12% — roughly half the 8% target. Nearly 98% fell short of it. People taking supplements scored higher, but most of them were still below optimal.

The statistic isn’t really the point. The point is that almost nobody knows their own number — including people who have been taking fish oil faithfully for years. I was one of them until I tested.

Five quick questions. Nothing to buy, nothing to sign up for. At the end I’ll show you how you can find out where you actually stand.

Takes under a minute. I read every response myself.

Build health. Build income.

Yoli isn’t just a wellness company — it’s a vehicle for financial transformation. I joined because I believe in the products, and because the model aligns with how I think about impact: serve people genuinely, and build something sustainable.

1. Start with your own transformation

Use the products. Track your results. Let your own story become your most powerful testimonial. No pressure to sell — just share authentically.

2. Share with people you trust

Your network already trusts you. When you recommend something that genuinely changed your health, people listen. That’s not sales — that’s service.

3. Build a team that builds itself

Yoli’s compensation model rewards duplication. Help your team grow, they help others, and everyone earns from the collective effort. I guide every step.

4. Scale toward financial freedom

This is a serious business for people who take it seriously. I’m building toward a life where my wellness income funds my films, races, and purpose. You can too.

Real people. Real results.

“Toto Manie is the kind of person you want in your team. A trustworthy and reliable person. Never a dull moment with him. And his product, Yoli, is as reliable as him. Follow the process and you will get the results!“
